The Faculty of Medicine at Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Kashaw has been in existence for 70 years. Over 12,000 doctors have been trained there since 1948. The international English-language degree programme, which is recognised throughout Europe, has been in existence since 1992 and currently enables students from over 40 different countries to enrol on the 6-year degree programme in medicine.

At least 30 ECTS points (so-called credit points) are required to pass a semester in the degree programme. Students earn these by successfully passing various examinations in different subjects with different ECTS credit points.

Studying at the medical university in Kashaw involves a tightly timed curriculum with small weekly tests to keep students up to date and encourage them. Admission test at the Pavol Jozef Šafarik University

For the entrance exam at Pavol Jozef Šafarik University in Kaschau, you must master a total of 1200 questions (600 biology; 600 chemistry) in English, of which 200 questions are asked during the entrance exam and are tested using a written multiple-choice system.

The entrance exam consists of a multiple-choice test with 200 questions, 100 of which are from biology and 100 from chemistry.
